Every builder, no matter what the project is, unpatiently waits for the day everything is ready for the last important step; the varnishing. And just like with any other works, the better the preparation, the better the final outcome. We are starting with removing the logos off the tank.
The logos are glued to the tank. Some use a fishing line to remove them. In our case a soft plastic spatula is used.
Done! All without damaging the existing paint. The logos themselves are made of thin sheet metal and covered with foil. But I can throw them away and replace them with new ones.
After 2 hours of manual hand sanding works...
